The Nebraska Legislative Term Limits, Salaries and Sessions Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Nebraska on November 2, 1886, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided that state legislators have term limits of two years, salaries of $5 per day while in session and that legislative sessions last no more than 60 days at one time.[1]
