June 14, 2012

Wayne, Nebraska: District 7 Court Judge Robert Ensz announced on June 1 his plan to retire later this year.[1] Ensz has served as a judge for the state of Nebraska for the more than 20 years, most recently working to establish the Northeast Nebraska Adult Drug Court in Madison, Nebraska.[1]

Ensz's retirement will be effective October 21, 2012.[1] The Judicial Resources Commission will be meeting to determine whether the district workload "merits his replacement or whether the vacancy should be shifted elsewhere in the state".[1]

Nebraska's 7th Judicial District includes Antelope, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton and Wayne counties.[1]
