Ned Carey (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 31A. He assumed office on January 14, 2015. He left office on January 11, 2023.
Carey (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent District 12B. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on July 19, 2022.

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Ned Carey defeated Robert Haynes and John Moran in the Democratic primary. Terry Lynn DeGraw was unopposed in the Republican primary. Carey defeated DeGraw in the general election.[1][2][3]
