Pawar ran for re-election for judge of the Colorado Court of Appeals. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
Gov. Jared Polis (D) appointed Pawar on March 8, 2019, to succeed Judge Laurie Booras.[1]

Pawar obtained a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991 and a J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1994.[1]
