Nelda Rodriguez
Nelda Vidaurri Rodriguez was a justice on the Texas Thirteenth District Court of Appeals. She was elected to this position in 1994 for a term beginning in 1995.[1] She was re-elected on November 6, 2012, for a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3] She did not seek re-election in 2018.
Education
Rodriguez received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University at Kingsville) and her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.[1]
Career
Rodriguez interned for the Harris County District Attorney's Office during law school. In 1981, she started the law office of Rodriguez and Rodriguez with her husband. She became a judge on the Municipal Court of Corpus Christi in 1990 and a Title IV-D Court Master in 1992. She then joined the Court of Appeals in 1995.[1]
