Collapse all
|Nelly decided to run for Montana State Auditor after spending many years working in the insurance industry where she observed Montana's small insurance businesses struggle to get started and develop. She has watched consumers struggle to find affordable insurance, and insurance companies struggle to come in and build a viable company in our state. Bigger government and more tax dollars is not the answer. Nelly believes Montanans deserve better and consumers are in desperate need of a healthy competitive insurance market in Montana. Its time for someone to run who is interested in effecting real change in the Auditors Office.
Nelly come from a patriotic Marine Corps household, so serving comes natural to her. She currently works at Victory Insurance Company, Inc. Victory is the last privately owned, Montana domiciled, workers' compensation company. Nelly can not emphasis enough the importance of this office. It is intended to protect Montanans.- Competitive Insurance Market

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
