Nelson to retire from Montana Supreme Court

Montana: Yesterday, Justice James Nelson (Montana) announced that he will step down from the Montana Supreme Court when his term expires on December 31, 2012. This leaves his seat open for election that year. He has served on the court since 1993, when he was appointed by Governor Marc Racicot.[1][2]
