Neosho City Charter Amendments, 3 (April 2011)
Three Neosho City Charter Amendment measures were on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the city of Neosho, which is in Newton County.
All three measures were approved
The first charter amendment sought to change the date for when the new council would be reorganized to 21 days after election results are certified by the clerk.
The second amendment stated that department heads should inform the city council if they become of any information that could be evidence or in violation of a law.
The third amendment will repeal the city primary election date and will set the general election date as that which the Missouri Secretary of State Office puts as the election date.[1]
