Nettie Mayersohn
Nettie Mayersohn is a former Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 27 from 1983 until her retirement on April 1, 2011.[1] A special election to replace her was held on September 13, 2011.
Biography
Mayersohn earned her B.A. from Queens College in 1978. Her professional experience includes working as the executive director for the New York State Crime Victims Board.[2]

Mayersohn ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. She was also unopposed in the general election on November 2.[3] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket.
