Nevada, Newton and Sunbury Township Opposition to Wind Energy Permits (February 2010)
There were six measures about Township Opposition to Wind Energy Permits on the February 2 ballot in Livingston County for voters in the Nevada, Newton and Sunbury townships.
All six measures failed to pass.[1]
All three townships had the same two questions on their ballot. The first question asked voters to approve the opposition of filed wind energy special use permits that were filed before 2015. The second measure also asked voters to approval the opposition of wind energy permits, but specified that these permits would be about adding turbines to windmills.[2]
