Nevada Assemblywoman Mastroluca resigns
November 30, 2012
By Maureen Ryland
CARSON: Nevada: Just three weeks after being re-elected to her seat in the Nevada Assembly, April Mastroluca (D) resigned for personal reasons.[1] Mastroluca has represented the 29th District since 2008, and in 2011 led the Assembly's Committee on Health and Human Services.
Mastroluca resigned soon after her re-election so that a replacement might be made before the new session begins in January 2013. Upon her formal resignation, the Clark County Commission will accept applications for her position, and will appoint a replacement.
