The Nevada Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment will not appear on the ballot in Nevada as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 3, 2026.[1]
The amendment would have provided the right to reproductive freedom, which entailed the "right to make and effectuate decisions about all matters relating to pregnancy, including, without limitation, prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, vasectomy, tubal ligation, abortion, abortion care, management of a miscarriage and infertility care. It also provides for the state to regulate abortion after fetal viability, except in cases to protect the life or health of the pregnant individual.[1]

In Nevada, a majority vote is required in two successive sessions of the Nevada State Legislature to place an amendment on the ballot.
2023 legislative session
The amendment was introduced as Senate Joint Resolution 7 (SJR 7). It was approved by the Senate on April 17, 2023, in a vote of 13-8. The Assembly approved the measure by 28-14 on May 10, 2023.[1]
