We must do more to diversify Nevada’s economy and I am committed to making Nevada a leader in the renewable energy market, which is why I support investing in industries like wind, solar and geothermal. I also believe that it is vital to Nevada's economy that the tourism industry continues to thrive and grow. Nevada’s students should have access to world-class education with excellent teachers and more individualized attention. The best education starts with having great teachers in our classrooms. I am committed to raising teacher pay in order for Nevada to attract and retain the best teachers and will also fight to cap class sizes to make sure that teachers can give our students the individualized attention they need to be successful. During my time as the President of the Las Vegas Hospitality Association, I led an effort to connect high school and college students with job training, career education and internship opportunities and will work to expand programs like this to all of our children so that they are prepared to compete for good paying jobs when they graduate. Funding Silver State Opportunity Grants and Millennium Scholarships is critical to ensure more sources of funding to help Nevada’s children achieve their dreams no matter their background or zip code. Having access to health care is an essential right and I will work to protect, defend and expand this right. I will protect funding for Planned Parenthood and ensure access to critical women’s health services.
Don't lie to voters or lobbyists
In my opinion, an elected official should be a good listener and communicator, empathetic, honest and value integrity. We must listen to and earn the trust of our neighbors in order to effectively represent our community.
We made Nevada a better place, and our education system is one best in the nation.
The best legacy is to leave legislation in place that provides for a better life for Nevadans, whether professionally or personally. I was fortunate to help pass legislation in 2019 alongside Senator Woodhouse to create a rare disease advisory council. This council and legislation will help with the early detection and treatments for childhood cancer.
My first childhood memory came when I was five or six years old and remember a large group of cloaked and hooded people marching down the street towards our family car where I grew up, asking for donations. This was my introduction to the KKK and my parents fear has stayed with me over the years. That incident sparked the need to be active and find voices in the community I trust. At the age of 11, I started knocking doors for local candidates and making calls for candidates at age 15. It is why I am proud to run for office.

Once of mutual respect. It is not a one-party system in the legislature.
It is ideal that the governor and legislature listen to the voices of hard working Nevadans and pass legislation that creates good paying job, accessible and affordable health care and a world class education for students.
Repealing laws that were passed in the last four election cycles
One of Nevada's greatest challenges will be water shortage and I look forward to being part of the solution working with conservation groups and community stakeholders on behalf of protecting Nevada's natural resources.
Absolutely, my campaign is already working with other candidates during the election cycle. I am hoping to continue once elected.
a fair and equal system, not the one that was recently passed
There should be a 2/3rd majority and only for 30 days at a time
Yes, compromise is one of the fundamental characteristics you need to possess to establish good policymaking.
I believe we must listen to all voices in the community and work together to reach policy solutions.
