New Hampshire Absentee Governor, Question 3 (1956)
The New Hampshire Absentee Governor Amendment, also known as Question 3, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 6, 1956, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. It proposed that the governor retain authority while absent from the state on official business.[1]
