New Hampshire Change Legislature Size Amendment (1984)
The New Hampshire Change Legislature Size Amendment, also known as Question 4, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 6, 1984, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. This amendment proposed to decrease the size of the House of Representatives by 12 while increasing the size of the Senate by 12.[1]

Note: Although this measure gathered more "yes" votes, it did not pass because New Hampshire requires that an amendment receive greater than two-thirds of the vote to be approved.
