New Hampshire Civil Case Jury Trial Threshold Amount Amendment (1984)
The New Hampshire Civil Case Jury Trial Threshold Amount Amendment, also known as Question 8, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 6, 1984, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. This amendment proposed to raise the threshold needed to have a jury trial in a civil case from $500 to $5,000.[1]
