New Hampshire Constitution Bill of Rights Gender-Neutral Language Amendment (1980)
The New Hampshire Constitution Bill of Rights Gender Neutral Language Amendment was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 4, 1980, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. This measure proposed replacing terms "men", "man", and "man's" with "people", "person" and "persons" in the Bill of Rights.[1]
