New Hampshire Election for Vacant Senate Seat Amendment (1968)
The New Hampshire Election for Vacant Senate Seat Amendment, also known as Question 8, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 5, 1968, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. It proposed a new election to fill the seat of an individual deemed unqualified to be seated as a senator. It also proposed that elections to fill senate vacancies be called by the governor and council.[1]
