The New Hampshire Eminent Domain Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 7, 2006, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposal was one of 12 eminent domain-related ballot measures throughout the country on the 2006 ballot. It proposed that property cannot be taken by eminent domain and given over for private use or development.[1]
