New Hampshire Governor Line of Succession, Question 4 (1889)
The New Hampshire Governor Line of Succession, Question 4 was on the ballot in New Hampshire on March 12, 1889, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. It proposed that the speaker of the House would act as governor if both the governor and president of the Senate were unable to perform their duties.[1]
