The New Hampshire Legislators' Oath of Office Amendment was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 5, 1974, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. This amendment proposed to provide an alternative process for legislators to take the oath of office if they could not easily take it before the governor and council.[1]
