New Hampshire Levy Certain Taxes, Question 4 (1938)
The New Hampshire Levy Certain Taxes Amendment, also known as Question 4, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 8, 1938, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed to permit the legislature to levy certain taxes including taxes on the sale of certain luxuries.[1]
