New Hampshire Reduce Membership of the House of Representatives, Question 1 (1942)
The New Hampshire Reduce Membership of the House of Representatives Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 3, 1942, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. It proposed to reduce the membership of the House of Representatives and put forth a plan for proportional representation.[1]
