New Hampshire Remove Certain Phrases, Question 6 (1920)
The New Hampshire Remove Certain Phrases Amendment, also known as Question 6, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 2, 1920, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed to remove the words "rightly grounded on evangelical principles" and the word "Protestant" from the Bill of Rights.[1]
