The New Hampshire Residency Requirements for Senate and Executive Council Amendment was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 7, 1978, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. This amendment proposed the reduction of the residency requirement for the state Senate and executive council. The requirement would be reduced from 7 years to 4 years.[1]
