The New Hampshire Right to Legal Representation Amendment, also known as Question 6, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 8, 1966, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. This measure proposed that the state must provide free legal representation to those in need who are facing criminal charges that could result in the "deprivation of liberty".[1]
