New Hampshire Right to Vote for Untaxed Amendment (1968)
The New Hampshire Right to Vote for Untaxed Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 5, 1968, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed that those who do not pay taxes should retain the right to vote.[1]

Note: Although this measure gathered more "yes" votes, it did not pass because New Hampshire requires that an amendment receive greater than two-thirds of the vote to be approved.
