The New Hampshire Staff Officers Amendment, also known as Question 5, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 7, 1950, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed to remove from the constitution provisions related to the appointment of staff officers.[1]

Note: Although this measure gathered more "yes" votes, it did not pass because New Hampshire requires that an amendment receive greater than two-thirds of the vote to be approved.
