New Hampshire Tax Amendment (March 1923)
The New Hampshire Tax Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the ballot in New Hampshire on March 13, 1923, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed to allow the legislature to impose any tax deemed reasonable.[1]
