New Jersey Courts embrace you tube in search for court volunteers
February 13, 2011
New Jersey: The New Jersey Supreme Court this past week turned to You-Tube to launch an official video requesting citizen's help in staffing the New Jersey court system. The ten minute video calls for citizens to pursue volunteer service in their local state courts and offers a list of opportunities for people to help. Chief Justice Stuart Rabner stated in the introduction to the video, "Volunteers are vital to our court system. Without them, it would be difficult for us to deliver the quality service the public expects and deserves." Currently over 4000 volunteers assist the court in managing over 7 million annual cases.[1] To watch the video and learn more, please see the Official Video.
