The New Jersey Public Question No. 1 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 5, 1957, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment reduced the voter residency requirements from 1 year to 6 months in the state and 5 months to 60 days in a county.[1]
