New Jersey Public Question No. 1 (1982)

The New Jersey Public Question No. 1 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 2, 1982, as an advisory question. It was approved. The non-binding referendum supported a nuclear weapons freeze between the United States and the Soviet Union, as well as the use of money saved by the freeze for tax cuts and human services.[1]
