The New Jersey Public Question No. 1 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 8, 1983, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. An act authorized $135 million in bonds to acquire and develop land for recreational and conservational purposes as part of the state's Green Acres program.[1]
