The New Jersey Public Question No. 1 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 6, 1984, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The Jobs, Science and Technology Bond Act of 1984 authorized $90 million in bonds to establish a network of advanced technology centers at institutions of higher education with the intent of creating jobs.[1]
