The New Jersey Public Question No. 1 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 3, 1987, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The Correctional Facilities Construction Bond Act authorized $198 million in bonds for the construction of state and county correctional facilities.[1]
