The New Jersey Public Question No. 2 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 5, 1974, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment reduced the residency qualifications for voters from 6 months in the state to 30 days, and 40 days in a county to 30 days.[1]
