The New Jersey Public Question No. 7 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 4, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposed amendment to Article IV, Section VII, paragraph 2 of the New Jersey Constitution would have allowed the state legislature to regulate amusement games with prizes of merchandise.[1]
