A New Lothrop Area School District Levy Renewal proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee, Shiawassee, and Saginaw Counties, which are in Michigan, where it was approved.
This measure authorized the New Lothrop Area School District to renew a property tax of 20.7108 mills ($20.7108 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 10 years in order to fund operating costs. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $165,816.[1]
