A New Melle City Tax Levy question was approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in St. Charles County, which is in Missouri.
This measure authorized the City of New Melle to impose an additional property tax levy, raising the tax rate to 5 mills ($5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).[1]

“ | Shall the City of New Melle be authorized to impose an additional real estate tax so that the maximum levy and the tax rate ceiling shall be set at $.50 cents per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation on all real, personal and other tangible property beginning in the 2013 tax year?[1][2] | ” |
