The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Confirmation of Gubernatorial Appointments, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 6, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal added interim hearings for confirmations of gubernatorial appointments.[1]
