The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Enhance Law Enforcement, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 5, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal extended the capabilities of law enforcement.[1]
