The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Fund Management, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal allowed for improvement of the management of the permanent funds.[1]

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 1: Proposing an amendment to Article 12, Section 7 of the Constitution of New Mexico to improve the prudent management of the permanent school fund and other permanent funds.[2]
