The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Increase the Head of Family Property Tax Exemption, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 3, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 8, 1988, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal allowed for the increase of property tax exemption for the head of a family.[1]
