The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Removal of Gubernatorial Appointees, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 8, 1988, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal allowed for the removal of gubernatorial appointees as provided by law.[1]
