The New Mexico Proposed Amendment, Elected State Board of Education, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 2, was on the 1958 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposed measure allowed for a constitutional amendment addressing an elected state board of education.[1]
