The New Mexico Proposed Amendment, Split Legislative Sessions, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 5, was on the 1942 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposed amendment would have allowed for a constitutional amendment addressing split legislative sessions.[1]
