The New Mexico Proposed Amendment, Western New Mexico University, Name Change, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 3, was on the 1964 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposed measure allowed for a constitutional amendment that changed the name of Western New Mexico University.[1]
