The New Mexico Proposed Amendment 2, Split Legislative Sessions, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 2, was on the 1940 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposition allowed for a constitutional amendment addressing split legislative sessions.[1]
