The New Mexico Referendum: Board of Regents of State Educational Institutions, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 6, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The referendum would have removed the board of regents of state educational institutions.[1]
