The New Mexico Referendum: Limiting Bail in Certain Circumstances, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 3, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The referendum allowed for the limiting of bail in certain circumstances.[1]
